Obama Urged to Free Terrorist From Prison
The Cuban Interests Section (Castro’s embassy in Washington, D.C.) hosted this conference just a few blocks from the White House. Freed Puerto Rican terrorist Rafael Cancel Miranda urged Obama to free Oscar Lopez Rivera from prison. José R. Cabañas, Chief of the Cuban Interests Section, was present throughout the conference and spoke on the first day. He wants the so-called “Cuban five” — five communist spies, three of whom remain in U.S. prisons — freed.
